Are we having fun yet? Making a baby should be a natural and enjoyable process yet it can be extremely stressful and begin to feel like a chore. If you have been trying to conceive without success and you haven’t yet looked at the Fertility Awareness Method of natural pregnancy achievement, I would highly recommend Toni Weschler’s “Taking Charge of Your Fertility” (see Resources, below). This book helped me and my husband conceive on our first try (after several months of tracking my fertility and intentionally not trying — hey, everyone deserves a little fun!!). In fact, everyone I’ve recommended it to has conceived within 1-3 months of tracking their fertility signals. There are also many resources at the OvuSoft website, which is the official book site that also offers software and printable charts for using the Fertility Awareness Method. Good luck and remember to have fun while you’re “trying.”
