For a great way to involve all guests in the fun, try the Two Truths and a Lie game. This popular sleepover game is easily adaptable for a baby shower. Before the game starts, hand out paper and pens to each guest and instruct them to write three things: two truths and one lie. Each guest will stand up and read their three statements, and the rest of the attendees will have to guess which one is the lie. When the speaker reveals their lie, anyone who guessed correctly gets one point. At the end of the game, the person with the most points wins!

Baby Jeopardy! is based on the classic TV game show of the same name and follows the same general rules. There are sets of categories, each question is worth a set dollar amount, and the players give their answers in the form of a question to rack up money to win. Name that Baby Tune
How many notes will it take your baby shower guests to name that tune? This fun spin on a classic TV game show will have your guests humming along and tapping their toes. Before the shower, compile a playlist with songs with the word “baby” in the title. When it’s game time, play a snippet of the song. Candy Bar Match Game
We LOVE this creative baby shower game idea. In Candy Bar Match Game, guests receive a printed sheet with two columns of words. One column contains baby/pregnancy/birth-related terms like “conception,” sleepless nights,” and “epidural.” The other column contains the names of popular candies like “Twix,” “Snickers,” and “SKOR.” The object of the game is to match the term with whichever candy name best fits (“conception” with “SKOR,” for example). This game doesn’t have to have a clear winner, but it’s fun to see which terms get matched with which candies!
Mommy or Daddy
Remember high school superlatives? Maybe you won “Most Likely to Succeed,” or “Class Clown.” Well, this baby shower game is similar, and it’s fun and easy to play. The host comes up with a list of superlatives that the guests will then assign to either the new mom or dad. There is no “winner” with this game, but if the parents-to-be have a good sense of humor, it’s a great opportunity to get a lot of laughs from baby shower guests.
