webbabyshower game printable karaoke baby

Karaoke Baby

If your baby shower is full of American Idol fans, this is the perfect game to play. Karaoke Baby is a basic fill-in-the-blank game… but instead of writing down the missing words, guests have to sing them! Our FREE, printable Baby Karaoke template makes prepping for this game a breeze — and it’s a perfect option for virtual baby showers, too. Just email your remote guests a copy of the printable!

To play Karaoke Baby, simply share the lyrics to a well-known nursery rhyme and drop the word guests need to sing. The guest who belts out the most correct lyrics first wins!

Scavenger Hunt

We love the idea of a virtual scavenger hunt! The rules are simple: The host calls out a baby-related item (a bottle, a diaper, a onesie, etc.), and each guest has a specific amount of time to get up and find that item in their home. The first five guests who find the item get to move on to the next round, and the game continues! To make things even more interesting, we encourage dressing up like a pirate to really get into the spirit of the scavenger hunt.
But even if eye patches and fake parrots aren’t your thing, check out our how-to guide and free download to make this game a smashing success. (Seriously though, consider the pirate thing. It’d be hilarious.)

Baby Mad Libs

Who doesn’t love a good game of Mad Libs? Adapt this hilarious party game to your baby shower with Baby Mad Libs. Before the shower, come up with a cute or funny baby-related anecdote and omit plenty of verbs, nouns, and adjectives. For example: When Mary went into labor, she screamed out, “(WORD OF SURPRISE).” Her husband jumped off the (NOUN) and (PAST-TENSE VERB.

Have your guests come up with words ahead of time, and, when everyone’s all together for the baby shower, add those words to the template and read them out loud

Guess the Baby

With a little preparation, you can create a fun and adorable game that involves both the parents-to-be and the baby shower guests with the “Guess the Baby” game. You can take advantage of a few of our WebBabyShower features to help plan and execute this game: Email guests ahead of time and ask them to email you photos of themselves as a baby. Once you get everyone’s photos, use our gallery feature to play the game. Add the photos and have guests submit their guesses as to who each baby photo belongs to using the guestbook feature. Guests can also email the host their guesses. The guest with the most correct answers wins! Check out our guide for more info on how to play this game.

Baby Shower Scattergories

Baby Shower Scattergories is a great shower game option whether you’re hosting a traditional baby shower or a virtual baby shower. In this game, guests are given a letter and must name as many things in various categories (a baby garment, jarred baby food, a favorite baby toy, etc.) that begin with that letter. The rounds are timed, and it’s always a hoot to see what people come up with when under pressure. Here is a full rundown of the rules plus a FREE Baby Shower Scattergories printable.

What’s in the Purse/Diaper Bag?

If your baby shower guest list consists of brave folks who aren’t easily embarrassed, the “What’s in Your Purse/Diaper Bag?” game has the potential for so much fun — and it’s easily adaptable for a remote baby shower! Shower guests get a list of things you’d typically find in a diaper bag — a diaper, baby wipes, a bottle, etc. — or things found in a purse like keys, gum, and more. Then guests have to race to find the listed item! Whoever returns first with the item wins the round.
